Our School Board
Bronwyn Hinder

Hi, I’m Bronwyn Hinder and a mother to 4 children, 1 is currently at Halidon Primary School. We have been a part of the Halidon school community for many years and have thoroughly enjoyed seeing our children flourish, thrive and enjoy their surrounds and friendships.
I am an active member of the P+C and believe we have a very strong family representation that will keep allowing our school to enjoy the benefits of such a great fundraising committee and avenue.
The majority of my career has been spent in the private finance sector. I now currently run my own niche business.
I take this opportunity to thank the school board for allowing me to be a voice of the Halidon “parents and families”.

Matt Denholm

My name is Matt Denholm.
My wife and I have two children, 1 is currently attending Halidon Primary School. I am passionate about the wellbeing of children and that is why I work in the education sector as a School Chaplain.
We were fortunate to be able to enrol our son at Halidon for the start of 2019, despite being out of area. We chose to apply to Halidon because it matched what we were looking for in an education environment for our children, a more holistic approach. We are pleased to see that the Fathering Project is a part of the school and I look forward to see how it will grow and positively impact the community. The decision to move our son was one that we do not regret in any way, Halidon has enabled him to flourish in both relational and learning spheres.
In my spare time I love to spend time with both my children, and enjoy watching AFL and basketball. I also enjoy riding my motorcycle as often as I can.

Keryna Jacob

My name is Keryna Jacob, I have 2 children and have lived in Kingsley for many years. One of my children still attends Halidon Primary School. Prior to becoming a mum, I spent the majority of my career in relationship management roles within the financial services industry.
As our children progress through their education, I think it is crucial to integrate knowledge and ideas adopted from community, business and educators to help implement creative and modern ideologies into action within the school.
I believe a holistic approach and collaborative thinking within the board enhances the daily experience of all students at Halidon, as we strive to make Halidon Primary an enjoyable and inclusive environment for all children to engage in their learning enhance their friendships.
I am honoured to be part of the board and hope my time will make a positive difference.

Danille Abbott

I'm Danille Abbott, I have 3 children, 1 who currently attends Halidon Primary School. I'm a qualified lawyer working as a Senior Manager in the federal government public sector. Our family live locally in Kingsley, a very short walk to the Halidon grounds.
We have always been impressed with the expertise of all teaching staff, the broader school environment and the inclusive Halidon community.
I'm very pleased to be able to contribute to the Halidon School Board, as a parent and community member. I believe being involved in the School Board provides an opportunity for parents, caregivers and the Kingsley community to continue to build a strong positive relationship with the school staff, support the existing commitment to holistic approaches to learning and be involved in the continuous improvement approach that makes Halidon such a positive school environment.
Sandy Davidson

Hi, I am Sandy Davidson and have been a member of the School Board since 2019. I have grandchildren currently attending Halidon, so I will be connected to the school for many years. As a long time member of the Kingsley community I am interested in helping the school maintain its strong relationships with the community whilst ensuring the strategic directions of the school are upheld. I am currently the Chief Financial Officer of a large Not for Profit organisation and feel my skills and experience may bring value to the Board around the areas of governance, finance, risk and human resources. I am a believer that if the School has a strong Board and leadership team this will directly impact on the education of the children who attend the school.
On a personal note, I love spending time with my family and having six grandchildren certainly keeps me busy when I am not working. I am lucky enough to have both my daughters live close by so I get to be involved in their activities and my grandchildren’s lives.
Jessica Stojkovski MLA

I have always been an active member of my community and served as the President of the Landsdale Residents Association, when I lived in Landsdale, where I campaigned successfully for a number of community projects, including funding for footpaths and air-conditioning and grants to hold community ‘Get to know your neighbour’ days.
As a mum with a young daughter attending a local primary school, I value the contribution education makes to our kid’s future and this was a driving force behind me standing for Parliament. Along with being on the Board of Halidon I am on the Boards of St Luke’s Catholic Primary School and Greenwood College. I have a keen interest in all issues affecting children and as such was nominated to the Joint Standing Committee on the Commission for Children and Young People.
